Important notes before using the BUZUD CGMS:

  • Please consult a healthcare professional, diabetic nurse or pharmacist before purchasing this product.
  • In situations of rapidly changing glucose levels, interstitial glucose levels measured by the sensor may not accurately reflect the blood glucose levels due to the expected lag time between interstitial glucose measured by this device and blood glucose readings. For example, when glucose levels are falling rapidly, glucose readings from the sensor may be higher than blood glucose levels. Conversely when glucose levels are rising rapidly, glucose readings from the sensor may be lower than blood glucose levels.
  • In order to confirm hypoglycemia or impending hypoglycemia as reported by the sensor, please use a blood glucose monitor to test blood glucose level.
  • If the symptoms do not match the sensor reading, please use a blood glucose monitor to test blood glucose level.

Before purchasing a BUZUD Continuous Glucose Monitoring System (CGMS) for the first time, you can consult our pharmacist to address any questions you may have.

CONTINUOUS GLUCOSE MONITORING SYSTEM

K100.00Price
  • The Continuous Glucose Monitoring System (CGMS) is indicated for continuous or regular monitoring of glucose levels in subcutaneous tissue, and is used for daily detection and self-management of blood glucose levels in people 2 years and older. It is intended for use by patients at home and in healthcare facilities. Interpretation of the CGMS results should be based on the glucose trends and several sequential readings over time. The CGMS also aids in the detection of episodes of hyperglycemia and hypoglycemia, and facilitating therapy adjustments. The System is designed to replace fingerstick blood glucose (BG) testing.
